Jason Kui is a Hong Kong-based rock and blues musician and composer. He started his career as a sideman and played at the Hong Kong Coliseum at the age of 23.
Published in 2017, Kui’s debut album, Absence of Words, features diverse sounds – modern metal, hard rock, funk and ballad – while integrating rock lead techniques and compelling melodies throughout.
Kui is a session and touring guitarist who has worked with many well-known artists throughout Hong Kong and China, and has participated in over 135 performances around the world in previous years. He had been a lead guitarist for Kahlil Fong,Sandy Lam, RH Li, Joey Yung and Eason Chan, with whom he recently finished a two-year world tour. He was also the main guitarist for the famous Chinese variety show “I am a Singer” in 2013. This year, Kui will be on tour for the entire 2019 with Miriam Yeung.
