GE300  V4.0.1

1. New overdrive/distortion models for DS/OD module. 
    ROD881(Based on Maxon ROD881 Overdrive/Distortion Pedal)
    RED AT（Based on JHS The AT Overdrive Pedal）

2. New Noise Reducer model for FXA module.

4. The range of Mono Pitch in FXA has been expanded from ±12 chromatic scales to ±24 chromatic scales.  
5. All the Delay effect has been upgraded to stereo delay effects. 
6. Additional 30 loading slots for MNRS files (up to 80 slots in total after this update).
7. Additional 30 loading slots for IR files (up to 50 slots in total after this update).
8. Fix some of the bugs in the GE300 device and the editor software. 

Notes
1. The firmware update will clear all user data from your GE300. Please back up your data via the Backup function (Backup/Recall) before updating the firmware.  
2. The setting of the Mono Pitch needs to be adjusted again according to your demand, as the Mono Pith has been upgraded from ±12 chromatic scales to ±24 chromatic scales.

1. New Intelligent Harmony effect has been added to the FXA module. (For best results, please place the harmony effect after distortion/overdrive effects in order to get a more distinctive and clear tone. This effect is designed for single-note melodic lines and may not produce the best results with chordal patterns. We always recommend checking the guitar tuning before playing for to achieve best results!
2. 60’s Vibe effect has been added to the FXB module.
3. The maximum length of AMP and CAB names have been increased to 31 characters. If the file name is longer than 18 characters, the name of the current file will be shown as a rolling title from left to right.
4. Users can customize the name of their CTRL footswitches with a maximum of six characters for each name. 
5. The name of the currently selected preset will be shown while accessing the SAVE menu.
6. Additional access options for the LOOPER and TUNER. Users can choose between pressing and holding both footswitches simultaneously or simply pressing both footswitches simultaneously.
7. Fixed a bug related to the Linear/Exponential modes of the volume expression pedal to ensure this function works as intended.

Notice: The firmware update will clear all user data from your GE300. Please backup your data before updating the firmware.

1. Added support for. GNR and .GIR sample files allowing GE Labs and MOOER Studio users to import these files to their GE300.
2. Increased number of load slots for AMP (.GNR) sample files, for a total of 50.*
3. Improved the microphone model in the CAB module.
4. Optimized the 2048-point sampling algorithm in the CAB module. Some conditions are limited. The default CAB sample is 2048 points and the POINT selection of the CAB module has been removed.
5. Brand-new“parameter preferencemenu. It offers two parameter adjustment modes. Users can access them from the PARA PREF menu.
6. Additional control footswitch mode has been added. There are now three footswitch control modes.
In FS mode 3, from the bank select page, you can access 8 preset patches via A, B, C, D and CTRL1, CTRL2, CTRL3, CTRL4.
Press a footswitch to select a preset patch. Press current preset patch footswitch again to access CTRL mode. You can use those 8 footswitches as 8 seperate CTRL footswitches.
Press Band Up/Down footswitch to back to preset select page.
 
 
Fix bugs in B2.0.0
1. Fix the bug of input level display
2. Fixed bug regarding low output level caused by the microphone model.
3. Fixed bug with REAMP mode related to not being able to adjust the mix rate of wet/dry signal.
4. Fix the bug of the silent sample file.
5. In the “PARA PREF” menu, set the “Default” option as the default setting.
6. Deleted the sample point display in the CAB module.
7. Fixed the bug of expression pedal (In the previous version, users need to calibrate the expression every time after the factory reset.)
 
 
GE300 Editor Software Update Notes:
1. Added new amp sample file type support (.GNR).
2. Added new cab sample file type support (.GIR).
3. Users can now quickly backup and restore presets.
4. Fixed a bug related to loading 32-bit IR files.
5. Fixed a bug that prevented users from renaming TONE CAPTURE files.
 
Notice:
1. This firmware update will reset all data. Please backup presets before updating!
2. *After this update, the boot time of the GE300will increase depending on the number of loaded sample files. (Boot-up time of 50 loaded sample files will be approximately 26 seconds.)
3. The Return module cannot be placed before the Synth module.
4. Microphone models have been changed. This may affect the tone of older preset files so please check and make adjustments if necessary.
5. Parameter preferences (PARA PREF) is set to“Default”as the factory setting. You can toggle these preferences between "Default" and "Maintain". Please see user manual for more information

Default: When switching effect to another in the same effects block, the parameters of the effect will be restored to the default settings.

Maintain: When switching effect to another in the same effects block, the parameters will stay the same and not reset to default for the new effect.

6. Additional control footswitch mode has also been added. There are now three footswitch control modes.

Notice: CAB SIM will sound slightly different after this update due to the bug fixing of the microphone model. The bass frequency will be slightly higher than before; the treble frequency will be slightly lower than before. You can adjust it manually according to your tonal preference.

Notice
1.TONE CAPTURE files created in V1.1.0 cannot be supported in V1.2.0. This update will clear up all the TONE CAPTURE files in V1.1.0.
2.For V1.1.1, we recommend users backup your TONE CAPTURE files before the update. TONE CAPTURE files created in V1.1.1 will be accepted by the V1.2.0.
3.The update will not affect users’ presets, 3rd party IRs. However, we recommend you to back up your presets and IRs in case accidents happen.

What’s New

1. Trail function is available now. When the Trail function is activated, the trail of delay or reverb effects will remain for few second after users switch patches or switch off the effects.
Delay effects support trail: Digital, Analog, Dynamic, Real, Tape, Mod, PingPong
Reverb effects support trail: Room, Hall, Plate, Fl-Reverb, Swell-Reverb, Spring, Mod

2. CTRL footswitch mode. The footswitch LED will change the brightness to indicate the current situation.

3. Fix the latency when changing presets, fix the pause when turning on/off effect blocks.

4. New alerts of importing preset with TONE CAPTURE files. When importing TONE CAPTURE presets, the TONE CAPTURE files already exist on the target patch, the alert will come up, select “Replace” to replace the TONE CAPTURE file; select “Save As” to select anther slot to import.  

Update procedure :

* Download the software from www.mooeraudio.com, SUPPORT-DOWNLOADS.

* Unzip the file and install the software. We recommend not connecting the GE300 to your computer before the install finishes.

* Power off GE300, connect GE300 to computer after the software has installed successfully.

* Press and hold B + D footswitches simultaneously. Power on GE300, hold the B + D footswitches until it has booted to UPDATE mode.

* Open the software and click on START to start updating. It will take a few minutes to finish.

* After the update is done successfully, the GE300 will reboot automatically. The firmware version will be shown on the start screen. Then you can import those preset files to enjoy.
