Goni Park is widely recognized as one of South Korea’s leading guitarists, with a career that has shaped the Korean rock scene since the early 1990s. He began in 1992 with the band Outsiders and rose to prominence as lead guitarist for Kim Kyung-ho, contributing to the band’s golden era from the 3rd to 8th albums. Since 2003, he has served as guitarist and bandmaster for Lee Seung-Chul.

Beyond performance, Park is a prolific composer, penning hits for top Korean artists including Kim Kyung-ho, Choi Jae-hoon, and Seo Moon-tak. His versatility is further reflected in collaborations and tours with major pop acts like Rain, Seven, JYP, and Wheesung.

Rooted in classic hard rock but infused with modern flair, Park’s style is defined by expressive vibrato, precise bending, and distinctive finger positioning. Influenced by legends such as Ritchie Blackmore, Gary Moore, and Yngwie Malmsteen, he bridges technical prowess with emotional depth. His solo albums, My Dreams and Phoenix, highlight this unique blend.
