Guitarist/Producer/Live Sound Engineer
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Martín Furia has carved a unique niche in the metal world as a guitarist, producer, and live sound technician. His musical journey began with the Argentine band JesusMartyr, where he showcased his talents as both a guitarist and backing vocalist from 1993 to 2007, with a brief return in 2009. During his time with the band, he embarked on his first European and South American tours, gaining valuable international experience.
After relocating to Antwerp, Belgium, Furia expanded his horizons by founding the groove metal band Bark in 2015. With Bark, he took on multiple roles—composer, guitarist, producer, mixer, and mastering engineer—shaping the band’s signature sound across albums such as Voice of Dog (2016), Like Humans Do (2017), Written in Stone (2020), Rambler of Aeons (2022), and The Time Has Come (2025). His work with the band delivers ferocious riffs and an uncompromising sonic intensity.
In 2021, Furia’s career took a significant leap when he joined the legendary German thrash metal band Destruction as their guitarist. Since then, he has contributed to the band's latest releases, Diabolical (2022) and Birth of Malice (2025), with the latter also crediting him as producer, mixing, and mastering engineer.
Beyond his performances, Furia has made a substantial impact behind the scenes as a producer and live sound technician. He has collaborated with a diverse array of artists, including Flotsam and Jetsam, Aborted, Nervosa, Chemicide, Evil Invaders, Toxic, Introtyl, and Your Highness, lending his expertise to enhance their sound both in the studio and on stage.
His career has taken him around the globe, touring extensively as both a guitarist and sound technician. From the biggest metal festivals to the most intense underground venues, Furia has left his mark on audiences worldwide, ensuring that every show—whether from the stage or behind the mixing desk—delivers pure sonic devastation.
